Description

Heavier7Strings is a seven-string virtual guitar for heavy styles with a built-in effects rack and a library of MIDI patterns.

A sampler was specially developed for this program, providing direct reading of samples from the disk and delay time compensation.

Built-in digital signal processor for more realistic guitar sound:

  • random changes in timbre and envelope in addition to the round-robin (RR) algorithm;
  • additional timbre correction for bends and vibrato;
  • the digital emulation of string tension, resonance, tone control, and pickup position
  • Vibrato is adjustable in frequency and depth.
  • Automatic setting of the working string, fret, and strumming direction.
  • Software switches (triggers) for easy playing of guitar parts on MIDI keyboard
  • Realistic double track: individual RR algorithm for each guitar and randomization of note duration

Effects rack

  • amplifier, cabinet, overdrive, screamer, flanger, delay, etc. in any combination
  • 16 types of amplifiers from clean to heavy metal, work in 2-8x supersampling mode to avoid high-frequency aliasing.
  • 66 built-in cabinet impulses with different speakers, microphones, and user impulses (wav files).
    – up to four impulses can be mixed with different delays, intensities, and phases.

Hundreds of built-in loops (MIDI patterns) with pre-configured effect rack configurations for different musical styles. Patterns can be transferred to the host program, you can also add your patterns (by dragging midi files from the explorer).
