Oddity3 is bold, brash, and beautiful. Oddity3 is a fresh and much-improved version of our beloved, award-winning software synthesizer Oddity. The original Oddity, along with its successor Oddity2, were praised by fans and critics alike for their incredible precision and, in the case of Oddity2, a huge suite of additions that take the legendary ARP Odyssey into previously untouched sonic realms.

Oddity3 retains the fundamental architecture that underpins previous versions, but expands its sonic and musical capabilities. Oddity3 includes an improved sound engine, a powerful new preset browser, over 250 new presets (plus all the originals), new distortion and reverb effects, a Vintage control for adding authentic analog imperfections, four programmable macros, new and improved performance controls, and three new, fully scalable user interface designs. This classic desert island synth just got better.

A Classic Synth for the 21st Century

With the sound and character of the original hardware, Oddity3 gives the classic synth new life. With authentic models of all three original filters, two sync-able oscillators, a faithful recreation of the legendary Ring Modulator, AR and ADSR envelopes, and more, we’ve spent countless hours ensuring Oddity3 continues to provide a faithful and accurate recreation of one of the most revered synths.

Over the years, we’ve greatly improved on these original features, adding monophonic and polyphonic playback capabilities, a customizable sub-oscillator, our unique X-Modifier technology, built-in effects, and voice panning.

Now, Oddity3 adds a host of new features and improvements – a powerful new preset browser, advanced performance controls with programmable macros, Velocity and Polyphonic Aftertouch, a Vintage knob for adding analog-style imperfections, new Distortion and Reverb effects, and more. All of this gives Oddity3 an authentic experience that feels right at home in a modern setting.

X-Modifiers – A Playground for Sound Design

Using our unique X-Modifier technology, users can reach new sonic heights with Oddity3. With a unique LFO and Envelope for nearly every parameter on the synth, Oddity3 allows you to create extremely complex sounds. And while the tone and character of the synth remains authentic to the original, X-Modifiers allow you to take that classic sound into uncharted realms of possibility. It’s the sound of an odyssey on steroids.

From Beautiful to Harsh

Listening to some of the beautiful, soft pads on Oddity3, it’s easy to think that this is a synth with a gentle nature but make no mistake. Oddity3 is a synth that screams as happily as it sings. With raw oscillators, gritty filters, screeching hardware sync, and a gnarly ring modulation circuit, the original hardware has been taken to shreds.

GForce Oddity3 keeps that dirty, gritty character and takes it a step further by amplifying it with new ways to add dirt to your sounds. A new distortion circuit lets you distort and distort your sounds even further, plus we’ve also added a Vintage control so you can tweak the authentic analog imperfections to your taste. Sometimes there is beauty in imperfection.

Inspiration at the Speed of Sound

Oddity3 features a new preset browser that gives you the ability to organize your sounds the way you want. With extensive tagging, sorting, and searching capabilities, you can now find the presets you need quickly and easily. Speaking of presets, we’ve got a ton of them.

First up, we’ve included over 250 brand-new presets created by our GForce sound design team, as well as a number of highly acclaimed synths. You can also access over 1,750 legacy presets from Oddity and Oddity2, which have been categorized and tagged for easy navigation.

Finally, we’ve also included 66 presets that we’ve faithfully recreated from the original patch packs. With over 2,000 presets at your fingertips, inspiration is never far away.
