PPG Wave 2

PPG Wave 2 is practically a reincarnation of the cult classic of the same name, made famous by the innovative PPG Wave series, which began in 1982.

First revived in 1989 with the Waldorf Microwave, it’s now enjoying a new life in virtual studios on PCs. This classic wavetable synthesis is renowned for creating playful hybrid analog and digital sounds that have graced countless hit records over the decades.

Attack

Attack is a percussion synthesizer powered by a powerful analog sound generator. It brings the signature sounds of classic 80s analog drum machines and progressive 90s electronic club rhythms into the modern context of 21st-century music production.

Since Attack calculates all sounds in real time, users can directly change any parameters.

Rounding out the Waldorf Edition 2 lineup is a highly versatile filter plugin featuring five filter types (low-pass, band-pass, high-pass, notch, and resonator), downsampling, ring modulation, overdrive (up to +52 dB), and stereo delay – all in stunning Waldorf quality!
